The Korean Invasion

During their weekend journey to Cebu and Bacolod, even Mojo could not help but observe at the number of Korean tourists around the places they've visited.

Grace Lee mentioned that four direct flights from Inchun to Cebu guarantee that the deluge of foreign visitors from Korea will increase.

Grace Lee could only muse at the reasons why this phenomena seems to be happening - the Filipinos don't just realize that we live in a tropical paradise - the warmest people amidst spectacular natural wonders. We just don't seem to appreciate what we have because we Filipinos take it for granted. Korea as we all know has four seasons, and it's miserable to be always wet and cold half of the year.

Dear Grace also mentioned about "reverse OFW's" where the main breadwinner of the family stays in Korea, while the children and the wife stay in the Philippines because of the low cost of living here (aside from the fact that kids learn to speak English here quickly).
