GoodTimes with Mo,Mojo and Grace Lee (One Night in Paris) : Oct 8 show

From Mo Twister's Diary:

It's 11pm, October 7 and I'm exhausted! I've been touring the Louvre Museum the whole day, and my feet are killing me. I was stuck at the Egyptian antiquities section, when I couldn't peel myself away from the bones of the last Egyptian Pharoahs to Cleopatra. Did you know that under the Greek Ptolemaic rulers, Egypt became part of the Persian and Macedonian empires, facilitating the spread of its distinctive culture throughout the Hellenistic world?

Oops, that must have been pretty boring huh, but I can't help myself. I just love looking at the ancient objects from Egypt.

It's 6:15 am, October 8,Manila time and I've logged in to the Magic 899 site, and I could hear some music, but no Mojo in sight. Is he awake already? Darn it! No Grace Lee to check on him. Mojo must be snoring this minute.

Oh, before I forget. This is the place I'm crashing in now. Cool huh? I found this place at this cool website www.vrbo.com.

It has an unbeatable location - it's 200 meters from the Louvre Museum, next to an historic passageway leading directly to the Palais Royal with its covered arcades and gardens. It's also close to "boulangerie" rue Moliere and local grocery shops on Rue de Richelieu.

6:40 am and I check on Mojo again. Music still playing. Where is that thickhead?

Speaking about thick planks, my humble abode has thick, white parquet floors. It's tiny, just 50 square meters Mediterranean style decoration with white parquet floors, but hear this, it has fireplaces in the sitting room and the bedroom. Sweet! The bedroom, sitting room and kitchen all face the roof level of the Palais Royal buildings which are lower on a side street with very little traffic.

6:59 am and I again check Mojo. He's still not there!! Golly, holy Molly! Yesterday, I've read blogs saying that Mojo was quite the Captain of the Ship, ably guiding the show with the Junior Jocks. Now, he's Mojo the Diva once more.

"Qu’elle heure est-il?" a gentle voice from the kitchen. Oops, that's a friend whom I've invited to look at the sights from my apartment. She looks at me, and asked what time it is. I'll keep her identity a secret, but there's hell to pay. .she looks pretty impatient already given the late hour, and me still fooling around in my laptop straining to hear the elusive voice of Mojo.

"Ou est le bistro?" I asked. If Mojo isn't there in 5 minutes, I'm going down to get a bite to eat.

7:10 am, Manila time and Mojo is finally on board. My God! If I was there, I'd wring his neck. I maximize the volume, and guess what I'd hear!

Rings and proposals and diamonds from My Diamonds? I'd spend five minutes on that topic and move on. Why did Mojo pick this topic? Because many of his friends are getting hitched? Still, it's such a boring topic.

"C’est là-bas," my companion is pointing out towards the window. "Le bistro."

I go over to the window and look at what my friend is pointing out. Yes, the bistro, with people spilling out, drinking coffee and just having a jolly time.

It's midnight, but hey, I'm in Paris and the night is young. Better to eat now and think about what I'd do to Mojo once I get back to Manila.

I hope my avid fan/listeners don't die of boredom while Mojo is steering the wheel at Goodtimes.

"Le gâteau garni de crème au beurre?" She's asking if I'd like a butter cream cake.

"Oui! Let's go." She smiles.

I look out again at the window, looking at the lights of Paris. It's beautiful. But I really miss Manila.Wish I was there right now.
