GoodTimes with Mo,Mojo and Grace Lee (One Night in Paris) : Oct 8 show

From Mo Twister's Diary:

It's 11pm, October 7 and I'm exhausted! I've been touring the Louvre Museum the whole day, and my feet are killing me. I was stuck at the Egyptian antiquities section, when I couldn't peel myself away from the bones of the last Egyptian Pharoahs to Cleopatra. Did you know that under the Greek Ptolemaic rulers, Egypt became part of the Persian and Macedonian empires, facilitating the spread of its distinctive culture throughout the Hellenistic world?

Oops, that must have been pretty boring huh, but I can't help myself. I just love looking at the ancient objects from Egypt.

It's 6:15 am, October 8,Manila time and I've logged in to the Magic 899 site, and I could hear some music, but no Mojo in sight. Is he awake already? Darn it! No Grace Lee to check on him. Mojo must be snoring this minute.

Oh, before I forget. This is the place I'm crashing in now. Cool huh? I found this place at this cool website www.vrbo.com.

It has an unbeatable location - it's 200 meters from the Louvre Museum, next to an historic passageway leading directly to the Palais Royal with its covered arcades and gardens. It's also close to "boulangerie" rue Moliere and local grocery shops on Rue de Richelieu.

6:40 am and I check on Mojo again. Music still playing. Where is that thickhead?

Speaking about thick planks, my humble abode has thick, white parquet floors. It's tiny, just 50 square meters Mediterranean style decoration with white parquet floors, but hear this, it has fireplaces in the sitting room and the bedroom. Sweet! The bedroom, sitting room and kitchen all face the roof level of the Palais Royal buildings which are lower on a side street with very little traffic.

6:59 am and I again check Mojo. He's still not there!! Golly, holy Molly! Yesterday, I've read blogs saying that Mojo was quite the Captain of the Ship,ably guiding the show with the Junior Jocks. Now, he's Mojo the Diva once more.

"Qu’elle heure est-il?" a gentle voice from the kitchen. Oops, that's a friend whom I've invited to look at the sights from my apartment. She looks at me, and asked what time it is. I'll keep her identity a secret, but there's hell to pay. .she looks pretty impatient already given the late hour, and me still fooling around in my laptop straining to hear the elusive voice of Mojo.

"Ou est le bistro?" I asked. If Mojo isn't there in 5 minutes, I'm going down to get a bite to eat.

7:10 am, Manila time and Mojo is finally on board. My God! If I was there, I'd wring his neck. I maximize the volume, and guess what I'd hear!

Rings and proposals and diamonds from My Diamonds? I'd spend five minutes on that topic and move on. Why did Mojo pick this topic? Because many of his friends are getting hitched? Still, it's such a boring topic.

"C’est là-bas," my companion is pointing out towards the window. "Le bistro."

I go over to the window and look at what my friend is pointing out. Yes, the bistro, with people spilling out, drinking coffee and just having a jolly time.

It's midnight, but hey, I'm in Paris and the night is young. Better to eat now and think about what I'd do to Mojo once I get back to Manila.

I hope my avid fan/listeners don't die of boredom while Mojo is steering the wheel at Goodtimes.

"Le gâteau garni de crème au beurre?" She's asking if I'd like a butter cream cake.

"Oui! Let's go." She smiles.

I look out again at the window, looking at the lights of Paris. It's beautiful. But I really miss Manila.Wish I was there right now.

Mo Twister & Grace Lee Play a Poop Prank on Mojo

'The Most Hilarious Moment on Radio' is a title I've used three times already in this blog, and it seems that I've used it so often because I found so many rib-tickling hysterically funny moments listening to this show.

I almost gagged with this one because they really caught Mojo and the listeners unaware, which really makes it so ridiculously funny. And Grace Lee was part of the prank.

So let me recount..

I almost felt bad for Mojo from the beginning, when I heard that the Twister was about to give a birthday/1 yr anniversary special gift to Grace Lee as a Goodtimes co-host.When Mo asked if he ever gave a gift to Mojo for Christmas for his birthday, Mojo said No, he never received a gift from the Mohan, despite many years working together. Ooooooowwwww :( Listeners must have felt bad for the Mojo Jojo.

Anyway, towards the end of the show, the Twister said his gift to Grace Lee was wrapped in a black plastic bag because he didn't have the time to get a box, the next best thing was to grab a black plastic garbage bag to put the gift inside. But first, Grace had to guess what the gift was inside, and if she wasn't able to guess, then Mo Twister would not give the gift to her. 'Then perhaps I get the gift!', Mojo shouts in joy.

Mo then slyly turns to Mojo Jojo and asks him/her, would you like to be the first then to guess what the gift inside is? Mojo is deliriously happy that he gets the first shot.

I was almost bored at the outcome. Was it a Louis Vuitton bag? Oops, and then I heard a "What is this?" from the Mojo Jojo. "Is this chips?" And then a "Mother F, is this what I think it is?" Is it poop? All hell broke loose then and the shit literally hit the fan.

There was a lot of screaming and cursing and running around. I think Mo said that it was his poop, which made Mojo run and scream out.

When he came back, he threw the gift poop towards the Mohan and Grace Lee so much so that the booth smelled like poopy whoopies.

In the end, it turned out to be dog poop. And it was a prank really intended for Mojo, with Grace Lee's compliance. Mojo Jojo seeks revenge in the coming days. Abangan!!!

(Postscript: The Twister admits that it's really his poop. Read his admission at the other great, great wordpress blog on Goodtimes ;)

Clay Aiken Confessional

The first time I saw Clay Aiken all those years ago, I knew he was gay. But why did it take him years to confess he is one?

Mo Twister as usual hit it in the head, he mentioned that he could not say 'mo' jokes to friends whose sexual affiliation he wasn't so sure of.

Why not just confess and get over with?

Grace Lee was shocked that Aiken said he's gay. She's so sweet but so cutely naive at times.

According to Aiken in his latest interview at People, following the Aug. 8 birth of his son Parker, singer Clay Aiken is following through on a promise he made to himself as a new dad: to publicly acknowledge that he's gay.

"It was the first decision I made as a father," Aiken, 29, tells the upcoming issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday. "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that."

Men and Women Dream Differently

As usual Mo the Twister is correct. He has keenly observed that men and women dream differently, with men having x-rated dreams with specific partners while women have fuzzy dreams of 'embracing' and 'kissing'. Perhaps it's because women are more emotional and tend to dream in the same way, while men are visual and dream in a more erotic way?

According to Dr Mark Blagrove, a reader in psychology at Swansea University who has studied 100,000 people's dream experiences as part of a nationwide survey, a typical married couple sleeping side by side would have completely different types of dream, often at the same time.

The research shows that women's dreams:
Are increasingly about work;
Have more emotion in them;
Are likely to last longer;
Are more often based on the home, and
Involve more characters, especially family members

Men's dreams:
Have more strangers;
More often involve cars, roads and violence;
Feature more sex with unknown partners, and
Are more often about work, concerning redundancy and financial security.

Mojo who is half Pinoy and half Pinay dream differently too. She/he dreams of Heart Evangelista (in an x-rated way?) Blush, blush!!!
