I saw this posted at the goodtimes multiply site and thought that it was highly unlikely that it would happen . . .

just wanted to keep you guys updated on the happenings. today on the show, i announced that we might bring forbidden questions out of the grave one time just for ol' time sake. so, im going to agree to do it this wed. however, this segment has gotten us into deep trouble in the past, and in the near future (likely the end of this month) i will begin serving the latter portion of a suspension i was given cuz of the variety of things that have been said during forbidden question. but no worries, i will take the time to go to italy and watch coldplay (this is your cue to get jealous).
i want to keep my promise so i contacted a celebrity to guest on forbidden questions this wed. il give you clues on who it is but i cant say it cuz i people found out they will try to contact that celeb an talk them out of it...thats how it used to be.
heres the clue: SHE was an ex of aga muhlach.
Mo
Lo and behold, Mo confirmed that he is interviewing a celebrity tomorrow, Sept 10, and will be indeed be asking Forbidden Questions, and the guest will be an ex of Aga Muhlach. Wow! This will be quite a riveting show.
Problem is Mojo will not be here tomorrow, and a fight broke out between the two about Mojo's diva ways - quite unprofessional if I may add. For one thing, Mojo arrived quite late this morning (6:30 am), and apparently he did not ask permission from Mo and Grace Lee if he could take a vacation tomorrow. It was quite inconsiderate, if I may add. If you work in a booth with two people besides you, I think it would be quite appropriate to tell them ahead that you'll be on a plane while your co-hosts are doing headstands and juggling balls in mid-air entertaining millions of fans all around the world.
I could just hear the Mohan @!! giving the Joseph the people's elbow. Arggghhh!!! It really sounds different when one of them is absent. That really sucks!!!!!!!
MOJO : LATIONS
By the way, before I forget, our dear MoJo is a writer for the Manila Bulletin, and in case you want to read his articles, here's a link I found to his column MOJO : LATIONS. It's a snippet of the whole articles he's written, but it's good enough. Enjoy!

The Most Hilarious Moment on Radio
I almost died laughing hearing the two girls from Glendale, who didn't know where "Ma ka ti" was. Or "Tag a tay". I thought they were born in the US of A, only to find out they arrived in the US from the Philippines only two years ago.
Oh me gash! Kalesh was right! These two are soul mates of Nonoy the Menggoy!
I wonder which area they've lived in the Philippines while they were here? Perhaps a rock someplace between China Sea and the Pacific Ocean?
Mojo mentioned that it would be nice if these two "Glendale" girls could visit tomorrow, and perhaps have Nonoy be present too. I could imagine all the listeners ending up in stitches wherever they'll be - in public buses, tricycles, the LRT just listening to those two.
Abangan!

Little Mo Twister
Mo Twister was not in the booth this morning, but the show wasn't boring because of little Miguel's presence. What a revelation! This little man is quite a Mo in the making - he is sarcastic, skeptical ( he said "sumakit ang tiyan niya" when he heard a caller with a high voice) and downright funny, pulling a prank on all of us listeners waiting for that one-on-one interview with Avril. A ha ha ha!!
The Korean Invasion
During their weekend journey to Cebu and Bacolod, even Mojo could not help but observe at the number of Korean tourists around the places they've visited.
Grace Lee mentioned that four direct flights from Inchun to Cebu guarantee that the deluge of foreign visitors from Korea will increase.
Grace Lee could only muse at the reasons why this phenomena seems to be happening - the Filipinos don't just realize that we live in a tropical paradise - the warmest people amidst spectacular natural wonders. We just don't seem to appreciate what we have because we Filipinos take it for granted. Korea as we all know has four seasons, and it's miserable to be always wet and cold half of the year.
Dear Grace also mentioned about "reverse OFW's" where the main breadwinner of the family stays in Korea, while the children and the wife stay in the Philippines because of the low cost of living here (aside from the fact that kids learn to speak English here quickly).

Camp Rock
Songs Played Today
It's funny how Mojo plays songs that he can't get away with when the Twister is around. One of these is "This is Me" which seems to be Mojo's favorite after apparently watching the debut opening of the movie "Camp Rock" last night at the Disney Channel.
As a bonus, here are the words to "This is Me", courtesy of www.lyricsmania.com :
Camp Rock - This Is Me lyrics
Album: Camp Rock
Year: 2008
Title: This Is Me
I've always been the kind of girl
That hid my face
So afraid to tell the world
What I've got to say
But I have this dream
Right inside of me
I'm gonna let it show, it's time
To let you know
To let you know
This is real, this is me
I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be, now
Gonna let the light, shine on me
Now I've found, who I am
There's no way to hold it in
No more hiding who I want to be
This is me
Do you know what it's like
To feel so in the dark
To dream about a life
Where you're the shining star
Even though it seems
Like it's too far away
I have to believe in myself
It's the only way
This is real, This is me
I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be, now
Gonna let the light, shine on me
Now I've found, who I am
There's no way to hold it in
No more hiding who I want to be
This is me
You're the voice I hear inside my head
The reason that I'm singing
I need to find you, I gotta find you
You're the missing piece I need
The song inside of me
I need to find you, I gotta find you
This is real, this is me
I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be, now
Gonna let the light, shine on me
Now I've found, who I am
There's no way to hold it in
No more hiding who I want to be
This is me
You're the missing piece I need
The song inside of me (this is me)
You're the voice I hear inside my head
The reason that I'm singing
Now I've found, who I am
There's no way to hold it in
No more hiding who I want to be
This is me

Favorite Funny Movies
The first caller of the day (September 4,2008) asked Mo Twister's favorite Funny Movies. Not one great fan for the funnies, since the Mohandas loves the great, dramatic movies, he nevertheless lists There's Something about Mary as a movie he finds very funny. Mo Jo mentions the first Dumb and Dumber movie.
Don't forget - Mo found the Zohan pretty hilarious!! As long as you can see past the huge bulb in between Adam Sandler's crotch, I think you're safe!
Currency Converter
Mo Twister is a currency converter fan. No, he doesn't look at the Phillipine peso vis-s-vis US dollar exchange, which can depress you.
The Mohandas almost salivates at comparing currencies where the peso converts to millions of Zimbabwen dollars, Vietnamese dongs.
Imagine carrying a million Z's in your pocket to buy a bag of groceries. Cute!

Mo Twister in Mo Jo's Body
A listener with a twisted sense of humor asked a What if question . .
What if Mo Twister finds himself in Mo Jo's body, what would he do?
Well, he'll go to Anne Curtis and volunteers as her stylist. That way, the Mo could go shopping and go inside all those dressing rooms with all those flaunted naked bodies to feast on!
And Mo Jo?
He'll call all the good-looking basketball buddies of Mo Twister and play with them. That way, he can see all the hanging ding-a-lings in the locker room after the game.
But the listener said, what if there's a twist? What if they go to bed with Anne Curtis/basketball hottie and the very next day, it's reversed, and they're back in their own bodies?
One look at the basketball hottie beside his bed, and Mo Twister is ready to jump off the window of his high-rise pad.
I didn't hear what MoJo had to say. I was laughing so hard, I didn't hear his answer. Hilarious!!!!!

Accepting Apologies
Mo Twister recounted how he apologized to a dude he accidentally hit yesterday, but when the guy gave him a dirty look, then it was A-hole time!!
This compared to a dude the Mohandas almost ran over with his car as he backed up. Mo Twister profusely apologized because the guy was hit with his dog. Reaction? No problem, man!
Isn't that nice? Mo segued with the previous topic about pussified males. That's what happens when a person is used to adversity - they just brush it off and it doesn't affect them. The pussies get hit a little, and they get a gun to hit the opponent. And it wasn't even intended.
This is why Mo Twister says that when a person apologizes with sincerity, one should accept it because there was no malice intended.

Grace in Love with Politicians
One could almost hear our dear Grace Lee drool over Adel Tamano, saying on air that "he is good looking", to which the Mohandas teased Grace Lee that she gets crushes with politicians.
Why is it so, the Mohandas mused? He even said she'd go starry eyed with a barangay captain - did I hear that right?
Well, Grace Lee says that it was her dream enter politics and become the first President of Korea. She even took up Political Science in Ateneo. Along the way, especially after a trip to the US, Grace became disillusioned with the political system and decided not to concentrate on it. And the only way to keep the dream alive is to see someone succeed in it brilliantly.
I'd say go run for office, Grace. We'll raise funds for you! We need good people in politics. One person could change the course of history.

Dog-Cat Fight!
A dog cat fight almost broke out between the Mohandas and the Joseph when all hell broke loose on the topic of public education.
Mo Twister asked Mr.Adel Tamano (who is also President of Pamantasang Lunsod ng Maynila) what he thought of politicians bringing their kids to public school.
Tamano said that his Dad (a former Senator) espoused egalitarianism - meaning go ride the public jeep, my boy! He rode the PUJ's to school in La Salle Greenhills, and because of this, did not grow up to be a pussified male. He was in touch with ordinary folks in ordinary circumstances and did not grow up surrounded by bodyguards kissing his ass. The Senior Tamano (God bless his soul!) reiterated to the young boy that power does not last forever.
If he is honest, of course he would want to bring his kids to Ateneo or UP, only because perhaps they have better facilities, but it would be a good idea to raise up the quality of public education in our country, because some of the best minds come from public schools, as evidenced by the bright young people Tamano has met at the government funded Pamantasan.
To which Mo Twister ribbed Mojo for saying that the best minds only come from our private schools. To which the Mojo almost threw his hot coffee on Mo Twister's lap because he happens to teach or volunteer as tutor (?) in public school in the country. MoJo's afraid someone from Pamantasan might just stab him in the back, methinks!
It was almost funny hearing the two get into a brawl! Cute.

Collective Wisdom

Obama as Presidential Canditate
Adel Tamano was asked by one listener to which Presidential candidate he'd like to see in the White House, and I could see Adel's eyes just open wide at his excitement batting for Obama. He was very impressed with Obama's book "The Audacity of Hope", and the fact that Obama came from a background that was less than privileged, a Black American, whose roots were disparate - from the plains of Kansas (where his grandparents settled after the war) to Kenya (where his Harvard educated father was born.
If I could put in my two cents of opinion, if he's impressed with "Audacity of Hope", Tamano should read Obama's "Dreams from my Father" which is the best autobiography written by a US President, dead or alive!
A Spokesman for the Opposition
One almost irate listener asked why it seems the Opposition is so negative and can't seem to see any good with the current administration's deeds.
Tamano mentioned that it was the Opposition's role to be the Devil's Advocate, since this current administration has two government TV stations at their disposal to espouse their causes down our throats.
When another listener asked if Tamano finds it hypocritical to criticize the Arroyo administration since the Opposition has no 'moral ascendancy' to pontificate since Erap Estrada (the symbolic head) is accused of plunder, Tamano just said that we all have sins, and it's his role to just point out what they're doing wrong. He points out that 95% of government employees are good, it's just that 5% of the corrupt bad eggs affect the whole country, for good or ill.
A Moslem Who Espouses Population Control?
Tamano mentioned hunger as the most blatant sin from a President who prides herself as an "economist". With 70% of the Philippine population considered poor and struggling to find food day to day, one wonders where all the taxes go, especially that only 20% pay for the taxes. That's a burden to those who are breaking their backs for a majority of hungry folks! He even mentioned that he likes Good Times because it talks about sex and sexuality in an open manner. With a population bordering on 90 million, we need to really think about population control to lessen hunger in our country.
Collective Wisdom
One other sin that Tamano pointed out is the Arroyo's bright boys creating that controversial MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) with the MNLF for six years without consulting the other people who might be affected by this - the lumads, the other Christian families who have settled in Mindanao, the opposition. I'd be up in arms if I've heard of an agreement dismembering our country. Tamano said that it doesn't matter if one is a Christian or a Moslem, there's a collective wisdom that is innate, that you know is right when one decides on something important. And cutting up the Republic is a script straight from Dumb and Dumbest!
My Vote for President in 2016

When you cast your vote for a Philippine President in 2010, it's a pity Adel Tamano is just 39 years old, and can't run as a candidate.
I think he's one of the most sincere, down to earth dudes that has surfaced from the murky mud of politics, and I like everything that he says.
Tamano is the first Filipino to give a commencement speech to any Harvard graduating class, and he gave it for his Harvard Law Batch!!!! The 2005 Harvard Law commencement speech is impressive! Read it in his blog The Opposite of Apathy. Awesome!

A Horrible Student
A student from De La Salle called and asked for advice. It seems he just got his grades for the term that just ended and he failed the same subjects thrice in a row (does this mean he failed the subjects in three terms?)
It seems the Management major kept failing at Accounting and some other Finance subjects and Mo said in his very nice Mohandas gentle way, that the caller was a "horrible student".Either he was doing something wrong like study habits that are screwed up or some distractions that contribute to brain death.
Go figure? Perhaps his ear was glued to Good Times from 6 to 9, and he can't unglue it.

Mongolian Blue Spots
Which led to a discussion on Mongolian Blue Spots. .
Professor Mo mentioned that he still has those blue spots (which you get at birth) right at his ass. Grace Lee said that her Mom mentioned that you usually get this blue spots when the doctor pulls you out from the womb of your Mother and the baby is held tightly, hence the blue marks.
According to Wikipedia, the Mongolian blue spot is a "birthmark is a blemish on the skin formed before birth. A little over 1 in 10 babies have a vascular birthmark.[1] They are part of the group of skin lesions known as "naevi". The exact cause of most birthmarks is unknown, but vascular birthmarks are not hereditary.[1][2]
They are soft raised swellings on the skin, often with a bright red surface, and some may look a bit like a strawberry. They are also known as "strawberry naevi" or as "infantile haemangiomas". They appear after birth, usually in the first month, and can occur anywhere on the skin. They are more of a problem when they affect the face. The cause of birthmarks is not fully understood. They are a benign overgrowth of blood vessels in the skin, and are made up of cells that usually form the inner lining of blood vessels. They are thought to occur as a result of a localized imbalance in factors controlling the development of blood vessels. Strawberry marks affect as many as one in ten newborn Caucasian babies but only about 1% of Asian and black children have them. They are particularly common in premature babies. Strawberry marks are not a sign of ill health, or associated with cancer."

To Wear or Not to Wear a School Uniform
Mo Twister asked an 11 year old listener who’s a friend of Freddie (frequent traveler to Germany) and who studies at the European International School if he wears a uniform to school or not. The 11 year old replied that when he was at Brent, he did wear a uniform, but in his new school, they could wear anything they want.
Mo Twister has said these repeatedly – he’d love to wear a uniform in school (even at work?) just to get the stress out of choosing what to wear everyday.
The problem is if an accident happens like you didn't have water (did Mojo say this?) and you have to wear a uniform that stinks to high heavens.
Oh well . .

Braveheart
Whoa!! What a way to start a morning show! I recall Mo telling a story two days ago about movies ( pirated or not, he didn't mention) that he has seen a hundred times, but which he bought again because he couldn't resist - some of which he had mentioned like Braveheart and Shawshank Redemption.
The Mohandas would get teary eyed at scenes especially before the big, climactic battle begins and the leader would stand in front of a crowd of a thousand followers , like in this scene of Braveheart.
Try to hear this, and cry. This was Mo’s favorite battle scene in Braveheart (speech before slaying thousands speech) until the film 300 came along.
